A greenhouse (also called a glasshouse or hothouse) is a building where plants are cultivated.
A greenhouse is a structure with a glass or plastic roof and frequently glass or plastic walls; it heats up because incoming solar radiation from the sun warms plants, soil, and other things inside the building. Air warmed by the heat from hot interior surfaces is retained in the building by the roof and wall. These structures range in size from small sheds to very large buildings.
Greenhouses can be divided into glass greenhouses and plastic greenhouses. Plastics mostly used are PEfilm and multiwall sheet in PC or PMMA. Commercial glass greenhouses are often high tech production facilities for vegetables or flowers. The glass greenhouses are filled with equipment like screening installations, heating, cooling, lighting and may be automatically controlled by a computer.
The glass used for a greenhouse works as a selective transmission medium for different spectral frequencies, and its effect is to trap energy within the greenhouse, which heats both the plants and the ground inside it. This warms the air near the ground, and this air is prevented from rising and flowing away. This can be demonstrated by opening a small window near the roof of a greenhouse: the temperature drops considerably. This principle is the basis of the autovent automatic cooling system. Greenhouses thus work by trapping electromagnetic radiation and preventing convection. A miniature greenhouse is known as a cold frame.

Iseng ah nulis tentang ini. The Green Planet adalah blog pertamaku, cm sekarang lg sibuk bgt posting buat blog pertamaku itu. The Green Planet sebenernya berisi ttg fauna (itu intinya sih) tp dulu belum kepikir buat blog baru, jd campur aduk deh dengan tips komputer maupun data-data negara... Namanya juga posting iseng, jd gpp ya asal tulis aja... Lagian siapa yg minat baca tulisan ini klo blognya aja ga nyambung yg cerita ttg Photoshop Tutorial.
Oiya, ada lagi blog baru setelah Photoshop Tutorial ini, yaitu tentang Proxy Server. Jaraknya ga lama sih sama bog ini, sekitar 2 mingguan. Klo ada yang belum tahu apa itu Proxy Server, buruan kunjungi aja deh...
Sebenernya ada yang lain sih, blog ttg cuap-cuap bebas, kebetulan datanya sendiri aku dapet dari tulisan tmn2 buat tugas kuliahnya... hehehehe pinter bgt ya... ok, nama blognya Inspiration moments. Kalo ditanya kategorinya apa, aku jg bingung, soalnya bnr2 acak deh itu postingan. Ada artikel ttg Jakarta Underground dan ada juga article tentang Second Hand Clothing di Bandung. Ada juga posting ttg sastra lho, yaitu tentang Lord Ullin's Daughter dan Lochinvar. Pokonya campur aduk bgt...
Nah, ini blog terakhirku nih, saran dari tmnku yang seorang dokter gigi, judul blognya Your Dentist. Isinya ga jauh2 dari kedokteran, ya sambil ngetik artikel sambil belajar jg. Ada istilah Pharyngeal Arches, ga tau tuh... baca sendiri ya ntar jg tau. Trus ada lagi nih blog baru namanya Your Green House, tp blm diisi banyak, ga tau deh besok2 gmn... Doain aja ya...
Udah dulu ahh, kebanyakan nulis nih... toh ga ada yg akan baca...
